Celebrating Over 70 Years of Hospitality – A Legacy of Excellence at Villa Roma Resort
Villa Roma Resort’s journey began nearly 60 years ago as a quaint boarding house with just 46 rooms, 10 cottages, and a small pool, all under the ownership of Ernesto Vindigni. In December 1969, Marty Passante, alongside friends Albert Aprea and Danny Vaccaro, purchased the resort and expanded it into a year-round getaway, solidifying its place in the community. By the 1980s, it had evolved into a premier destination, offering a PGA Championship golf course, sports facilities, and family-friendly activities.
Now, under the ownership of Fay Hospitality Catskills, LLC since September 6, 2024, Villa Roma is undergoing exciting renovations, ensuring that the resort continues to be a beloved destination for years to come. With over 400 dedicated Seasonal and Full-time staff members and a yearly guest count exceeding 200,000, we remain committed to offering exceptional hospitality, while celebrating over 70 years of tradition and timeless experiences at Villa Roma Resort.
